Description
Druidsmere House Walled Garden comprises a late 19th-century walled garden with associated structures. Two single-story, symmetrical cottages, built around 1885 by Andrew Heiton, are located to the southwest of the walled garden and north of Druidsmere House. These cottages are constructed of red sandstone rubble and have a narrow rectangular plan, topped with a slated piend roof featuring overhanging, bracketed eaves.
The walled garden itself is a rectangular enclosure with a late 19th-century conservatory situated at the northwest angle. The conservatory has a ‘three-quarter span’ design and incorporates cast-iron ridge decoration along with apex finials.
