Description
The Engine House and Kennels, located at Druidsmere House, were constructed around 1885 by Andrew Heiton. The building has a rectangular, symmetrical plan. It is built of stugged and squared red sandstone rubble with raised long and short quoins. The roof is slated and piended, with slightly overhanging eaves. A single ridge stack is present on the right side (likely originally symmetrical, with one stack now lost); there are two fireplaces within the building. To the east is a railed kennel enclosure.
