Description
Belvedere House is a three-storey building constructed around 1847-1848. It features a rubble exterior in the Italianate style, with a low-pitched pyramid roof and wide eaves. The building is located beside the railway and has three inserted stones on the west wall that are dated 1601 and 1627. The architect is probably Andrew Heiton Snr., who also designed the stations on the South Midland Junction Railway.
