Description

Waulkmill Ferry Bothy is a small, single-storey, gabled building dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a slated roof that features barge boards and slightly swept eaves. There is a brick stack at one end and a cast-iron finial on the opposite side. On the south side, there is a boarded timber door, and attached to the east gable is a painted timber table of fares that is dated 1920.
