Description
Luncarty Home Farm is an early 19th-century steading that was remodeled in the later 19th century. It features an irregular plan and is constructed of pink rubble sandstone with stugged grey ashlar dressings. The building has boarded doors at its openings and grey slate roofs.
Grieve's House, located on the northwest gable, has overhanging eaves, 2-pane sash and case windows, and two coped ridge stacks with moulded cans. The first-floor windows break the eaves in dormers, while the northeast entrance elevation is largely obscured by vegetation as of 1994.
The cartshed range runs northwest to southeast and includes six cart arches along with a pedestrian doorway. Most openings have red brick arches, except for a stone arch on the outer right, with a granary located above.
The stable block is positioned at a right angle to the northwest of the cartshed range and features a piended roof. It has a sliding door with stop-chamfered bipartite windows flanking it, a divided door on the outer right, and two hayloft doors that break the eaves in the piended roofs.
Additionally, there is a circular horse mill topped with a conical roof and an iron finial.
