2-storey rubble: low-pitched roofs, general composition showing influence of Alexander Thomson. Simple distinctive detail. Large coat of arms of Graemes of Balgowan, very finely carved formerly in the pediment of Balgowan (of c.1730 vintage); David Smart (Perth) archt., 1861-63.
