Description
Lodge House in Baledmund is an early 19th century single-storey and attic lodge house, featuring three bays and constructed from rubble with squared rubble quoins.
The south elevation is symmetrical, with a part-glazed timber door at the center flanked by windows, and later flat-roofed bipartite dormer windows above the outer bays. The east elevation has a gabled design, with a window and door to the right, topped by a prominent chimney stack. The west elevation is blank, featuring a gablehead stack offset to the right of center. The north elevation, or rear, displays a variety of openings and has a lower piended projection to the left.
The windows are timber sash and case, with glazing patterns of 4-pane, 6-pane, and plate glass. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks.
