Description

The Mercer Burial Ground in Glenalmond is a burial enclosure built in 1877 for the Mercer family from Perth. It features a railed enclosure with two square gatepiers that have coped tops. These gatepiers bear tablets inscribed with information about the Mercer family's history. The original finials, which depict storks holding sea serpents, were restored in 1983.
