46 Burrell Street, Crieff

46 Burrell Street in Crieff is a pair of terraced houses dating from the earlier to mid 19th century. These two-storey and attic homes each have three bays and are constructed from squared and snecked rubble, featuring painted ashlar margins and quoins. The house at No 42 has lined pointing and a deep base course, along with hoodmoulds above the windows.

The northwest elevation, which is the principal facade, shows that No 42 has a symmetrical design with a central door at ground level flanked by windows, regular fenestration on the first floor, and large, later-added canted dormer windows above the outer bays. No 46 mirrors this layout but has a timber door with a plate glass fanlight and smaller, unaltered dormers.

The northeast elevation of No 42 is blank and features a gablehead stack, while the southwest elevation of No 46 has a gabled design with a window on the left side at each floor and a gablehead stack. The windows in No 46 have 4- and 12-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case style, while No 42 has modern glazing. Both houses are topped with graded grey slates and feature small traditional rooflights, coped ashlar stacks with some cans, and plain bargeboarding.
