Description

Andrew Heiton, 1877-79, further part dated 1881: burned 1895:

rebuilt and extended 1895-6, Andrew Heiton and Grainger (A G

Heiton). Victorian Gothic, stugged coursers. Corner section

2-storey with tall 1st floor, slim circular corner turret,

corbelled oriel bay on Tay Street, balconied window on High

Street; remainder 3-storey, 4-storey tower feature broached

to octagonal on High Street, slim towers with tall pavilion

roofs on Tay Street. Windows grouped in pairs both fronts.
