Aberfeldy Cottage Hospital, Old Crieff Road, Aberfeldy

Aberfeldy Cottage Hospital, dated 1909, has been extended at the sides and rear. It is a single-storey and attic building featuring a 10-bay Domestic style design with crowstepped gables. The exterior is finished in whitewashed harl with a yellow sandstone ashlar doorpiece and a base course.

On the south elevation, there is a roll-moulded doorpiece, which has been converted into a window, flanked by narrow lights in the bay to the left of centre. To the right of this, there is a window and an M-gable above with two square windows. There is a single window immediately to the left and two tall lights on the outer left that break the eaves into a dormer head. To the right of centre, there are two similar lights flanking a bipartite window, along with further single outer windows. A modern door is located under a flat-roofed extension angled to the outer right.

The windows feature 12- and 18-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case style, while the former door has a multi-pane glazing pattern and the M-gable has top-opening glazing. The roof is covered with green slates, and there are coped harled stacks with cans. The crowstepped skews are capped with ashlar, and there are cast-iron downpipes with a decorative rainwater hopper at the centre of the south elevation.

The interior is modern.

The boundary walls are low, saddleback-coped, and stepped harled, with flat-coped square-section gatepiers.
