Description

This is a sandstone milestone from the early to mid-20th century located at North Ness in Walls, Hoy. It features a segmental head and is inscribed with the word 'HOY' in sans serif characters, along with a direction arrow pointing north and the number '11' below it. Additionally, it has the inscription 'S. NESS' with an arrow pointing south and the number '5' at the bottom.
