Description

This is an early 20th century milestone located to the west of Haybrake in Lyness, Walls, Hoy. It features a segmental-headed stone slab with inscriptions in sans serif characters. The top section reads 'N.NESS' (indicating North Ness) above the number '2' with an arrow pointing left. Below that, it says 'HOY' above the number '9' with an arrow pointing right.
