Description
Hoy, Lyness features a pier built in 1917, which was extended to the north to create a wharf between 1938 and 1943. The structure has a rubble base with concrete blocks that form a shallow U-shape. Additionally, there is a boom slipway with metal tracks attached to the southern side.
