Description

Circa 1825. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay symmetrical, rectangular-plan house, abutting Number 3 Palace Road to rear (S), (listed separately), with central tympany gable and flanking gabletted dormers, breaking eaves. Harled. Concrete cills.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: doorway infilled as window at ground in bay to centre; window at each floor above; gablehead stack to tympany gable. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: 2-bay. Window at each floor in bay to right; modern part-glazed door at ground in bay to left; winodow at 1st floor; gablehead stack above.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: 2-bay. Window at each floor in each bay; gablehead stack above.

Variety of glazing patterns including, 12- and 9-pane timber sash and case windows. Replaced, traditional, graded stone tiled roof; harled, corniced stacks; cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIORS: not seen, 1998.
