Description
St Molio's Church is located in Shiskine, on the Isle of Arran, and was designed by Sir John James Burnet. The church features a squat western tower with corner buttresses. Integrated into these buttresses is a figured tombstone taken from the old burial ground; local tradition states this tombstone originally covered the remains of St Molio. The church was upgraded from a Grade B listed building to a Grade A listed building on 9th August 1990, recognising its group value.
