Description

The war memorial in Bennecarrigan, Arran, dates from around 1920. It is made of bull-faced and polished grey granite. The memorial features a shaft that depicts a rifle and a laurel wreath, which is set upon a corniced pedestal. This pedestal rests on a battered rubble base and is elevated by a wide rubble dais.
