Description

Early to earlier 19th century probably incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house. Ashlar front, rubble stone to side and rear. Painted base course, ground floor cill course, eaves band, cornice and blocking course. Painted quoins and tails.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: short double flight steps to central entrance doorpiece with consoled cornice, rectangular fanlights. Windows flanking with plain margins. 1st floor windows smaller with ashlar cills.

W ELEVATION: gable end, window 1st floor to left.

E ELEVATION: attached to No 45, passageway at ground level.

4-pane timber sash windows. Grey slate, skews to W, later brick built gablehead stack to W.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.
