Description
This is an earlier 19th-century building on Main Street, Kilbirnie, comprising two storeys and four bays. It is constructed of painted ashlar with painted margins. The central bay is recessed, featuring a round-headed doorway topped with a fanlight and flanked by pilastered jambs. Either side of this central doorway are shop fronts with flanking windows. A pilastered ground floor supports a continuous frieze and cornice. The upper floor has four sash windows set within lugged architraves. A cornice forms the eaves, above which is a blocking course and a central wall-head pediment with a panelled apex stack. End stacks are present, and the roof is covered in slate.
