Description

Crosbie, located in West Kilbride, is a 17th century house that now serves as a Scottish Youth Hostel. The building features a T plan design, consisting of an oblong structure with crow-stepped gables and a projecting staircase tower that includes a small watchroom at the top. It has three storeys and an attic, with the entrance located on the west side of the tower. The house was restored in the late 19th century and originally included some fine chimneypieces and panelling.
