Description
26 Lewis Street is a symmetrical double villa that dates from the late 19th century. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features a front elevation with four bays arranged in a pattern of one bay, two bays, and one bay. The villa has paired inner doors and first-floor windows, with bipartite windows located in the centre wall-head gable. The outer bays are highlighted by canted ground floor windows and attic dormers. The building is constructed from rubble and has slate roofs. There has been partial re-glazing, but some original sash and case windows with a 4-pane glazing pattern still remain. The villa also features skews and apex stacks.
