Description
25 Francis Street in Stornoway, Lewis, is part of a row of four adjoining houses, all dating from the earlier to later 19th century. Each house has two storeys and features a symmetrical front elevation with three bays and a central door. The exteriors are harled with contrasting painted margins, and some have ashlar or render finishes, topped with slate roofs. Starting from the left, No. 29 has a pilastered doorcase, while Nos. 25 and 27 have paired doors that share a bracketed hood. No. 23A is lower in height and has been modernised.
