Description

The garage at Logie House was designed by R Neish and Forsyth, Architects, in Forres in 1939. It is a single-storey, roughly square structure built with bullfaced rubble and tooled ashlar dressings, featuring a concrete core. The east elevation has four bays, with the central two bays protruding to face a top-lit forecourt, and each bay has a wide Tudor arched entrance. There are two similar entrances on the south elevation, each fitted with oak segmental up-and-over doors. The north and west elevations have bipartite and tripartite windows beneath a continuous hoodmould and string course, with multi-pane glazing. The north and east walls have a crenellated wallhead that conceals the flat roof.
