Description

This building, located at 1-3 Mid Street in Findochty, dates from around 1900 and was originally a shop with residential spaces above. It is two stories tall and features a three-bay facade with a bowed angle at the street corner, which is flanked by large ground floor windows that were once used as shop windows. The structure is made of rubble with contrasting painted concrete dressings. It has panelled doors, including one bipartite door on the ground floor and two doors in gabled dormers that break the wallhead. The windows have 2- and 4-pane glazing. The building is topped with a slate roof and has coped end stacks.
