Description
Daisybank is a two-storey, three-bay house dated 1912, located at 16 Castle Street in Findochty. The building is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted courses and concrete dressings. It features a shaped hoodmould above the central entrance, which has a panelled door with a cushioned centre rail. To the right (east) of the entrance, there is a projecting canted ground floor window, while to the left (west), there is a bipartite window. The roof is adorned with two shaped gabled dormers that break the wallhead, each containing bipartite windows in the outer bays, and a centre piended dormer. The glazing includes both two-pane and four-pane windows. The house has coped end stacks and is topped with a slate roof that has a red pottery ridge.
