Description
9 Castle Street in Findochty is a house built around 1910. It is two stories tall and has three bays, constructed from rubble with contrasting painted concrete dressings. The wide, corniced central entrance features glazed Art Nouveau lights and a panelled door with a cushioned cross-rail, flanked by bipartite windows. The house has three gabled dormers that break the wallhead, with a bipartite window in the center. The fenestration has segmental-headed lintels and 2-pane glazing. The house also has coped end stacks, a slate roof, and facetted ball finials at the peaks.
