Description

2 Castle Street in Findochty is a house built around 1910. It is two stories tall and has three bays. The exterior is made of rubble with contrasting painted joints and concrete dressings, while the flanks are constructed from random rubble. The house features a central door and three gabled dormers with finials that break the wallhead. All openings have segmental-headed lintels and the windows have four-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks and a slate roof. There is a single-storey wing at the rear and a modern garage attached to the west gable.
