Description

166 Land Street in Keith is an early 19th century, east-facing house that is two stories high and has three bays. It features a regular two-bay return gable that faces Union Street and includes a two-story, two-bay wing with an entrance on Union Street (number 16 Union Street). The building is constructed of rubble with tooled ashlar margins.

The central door has a fanlight with radial glazing, and there is a small attic window in the return gable. The windows throughout the house have 12-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks and a slate roof. A flight of steps with cast-iron spearhead railings provides access to two later entrances located at the rear in the first-floor re-entrant angle.
