Description

The Shop on High Street in Garmouth is an early 19th-century single-storey, three-bay cottage. It features clay and bool harling with painted margins and has varied glazing. There is a ridge stack next to High Street, set slightly in from the north gable, which formerly served a 'hinging lum' or timber canopy. The roof is made of corrugated iron. Additionally, there is a small single-storey extension at the south gable, and a porch or passage connects the cottage to a modern shop.
