Description
1 Andrew's Road in Lhanbryde is a mid 19th century single storey and attic terrace located on a corner site. The building is constructed of rubble with tooled ashlar margins and dressings.
No 1, which was formerly two houses, faces west and features four bays with an off-centre entrance that is concealed by a later timber gabled porch with a side entrance. The corniced doorway from the former house is now blocked and has been converted into a window. There is a canted angle and a single return bay.
No 3 consists of three bays with a centrally located corniced door that faces south towards the main road.
The building has two piended dormers on the west side and three on the south side. The upper sashes are mainly 6-pane, while the dormers have 12-pane windows. It also features a deep eaves band, angle margins, coped end stacks, and a slate roof.
