Description
The granary at Mill of Towie, dating from the later 19th century, is a two-storey, four-bay rectangular building that has been converted into a restaurant. It is constructed of granite rubble with tooled granite dressings. The north elevation features regular fenestration with small loft windows on the first floor, while the south elevation has similar window arrangements and entrances in the outer bays, with the southeast entrance being modern. There are single windows in the return gables, which also include small gablet attic windows, all with multi-pane glazing. The building is topped with a slate roof and has a modern weatherboarded piended gablet at the center of the south front.
