Description
46 Duff Street in Keith is a pair of single-storey cottages built between 1820 and 1830. They are constructed from rubble with tooled rubble dressings.
No. 46 features a three-bay layout with a central door and a continuous fourth bay at the south, which is the return gable of No. 48 that faces Mar Place. It has four-pane glazing, end and ridge stacks, and a Banffshire slate roof.
No. 48 also has a three-bay design with a central door that opens onto Mar Place. It similarly includes four-pane glazing, end and ridge stacks, and a piended and gabled Banffshire slate roof.
In front of the cottages, there is a length of coped rubble wall that borders Mar Place.
