Description
The Dovecot at Greenbank Farm is an early 19th-century circular structure that includes a hen house in its lower section. It is constructed of harled rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The entrance is located on the south side, beneath a slate rat/alighting course that encircles the dovecot, which features a continuous row of small square flight holes. There is an additional entrance in the upper portion on the east side, providing access to the former pigeon loft. The dovecot has a conical roof made of local slates.
Inside, there are former hen boxes built around the base of the building, and there is no ceiling separating the hens from the pigeon loft above.
