Description
The Delnashaugh Inn, dating to around 1800, is a two-storey L-shaped building comprising two blocks of three bays each, exhibiting slight variations in construction. The exterior is of rubble with tooled dressings, and the entire structure is whitewashed. The west-facing front has a former central entrance blocked and replaced with a tripartite window. The current entrance is located at the rear, within the re-entrant angle, and is sheltered by a modern glazed porch. Most windows have 12 panes. The roof is covered with graded Banffshire slate and features coped end stacks. A former steading/stable range to the east, now converted into hotel accommodation, is not included in the listing. The statutory address is Ballindalloch, Delnashaugh Hotel.
