Description
114 High Street in Elgin is a mid to late 18th century building that stands four storeys tall and features two bays, with the southern bay being canted. The ground floor has a blind door on the right and a blind central window, along with a door leading to a store in the left bay. Modern stairs ascend from the left side to a first-floor door located in the canted bay, which was formerly a window. There is a blind opening in the right bay on the first floor. The second and third floors each have a single window in the canted bay, and there is a window on the second floor in the right bay. The building is constructed of rubble with tooled dressings and has a slate roof. A chimney projects slightly to the south from the third floor. The property abuts the rear of 116 High Street and 114A Harrow Inn Close.
