Description
100B High Street in Elgin is a mid-19th century classical building featuring a pair of three-storey, three-bay shops with dwellings above. Located near the center, it has a narrow flat-headed entrance leading to a pend, alongside modern shop fronts on the ground floor. The facade is made of ashlar for the first and second floors, which include pediments above the round-headed windows, with the center window being bipartite. Each window is flanked by pilasters that have foliated capitals on the first floor, and there are rosettes along the eaves band. The glazing consists of two panes. The building is topped with a dentilled cornice, a low parapet, and corniced stacks, all beneath a slate roof. Additionally, there are two piended dormers serving Nos 96-98.
