Description

This building, located at 106 and 108 High Street in Elgin, dates from the later 19th century. It features three storeys and an attic, with a three-bay facade that includes a central entrance with a pediment, flanked by modern shop fronts. The structure is made of ashlar stone. The outer bays have curved canted windows on the first and second storeys, with a pediment over the second storey. The building has a mansard roof with cast-iron cresting, single plate glass, and two-pane glazing. There are segmental-headed pediments above the flanking dormers, end stacks, and a slate roof.
