Description

Early 19th century. S facing single storey, wide 3-bay

dwelling with single bay, piended roof wings set back at

E and W gables. Rubble, contrasting tooled ashlar dressings.

Centre door sheltered by painted timber pedimented porch;

12-pane glazing; coped end stacks; graded slate roof coated

with modern slurry. Harled single storey and attic

wing to rear.

INTERIOR: panelled pine doors with simple moulded

architraves; panelled window shutters; simple moulded

ceiling cornices to entrance hall and flanking front rooms. STABLES/GIGHOUSE: single storey rubble range to rear of

house; slate roof.

GARDEN WALLS: house and garden enclosed by roughly coped

dry-stone wall.
