Description

This is an early 19th century two-storey and attic house with five bays, located at 45-45A High Street and 1 Murdoch Place in Forres. The ground floor features two shopfronts on the right and a large pend on the left. The building is constructed of painted ashlar and has margined window surrounds, with plate glass glazing on the upper floors. The roof is pitched and covered with slate, featuring two later canted roof dormers and corniced gable stacks.
