Description

No. 65 is a single-storey, three-bay cottage located in Whitemire Village, Darnaway, built by A and W Reid in the later 19th century. The cottage features a symmetrical front with rubble walls and tooled ashlar dressings. The central door is sheltered by a gabled porch supported by painted rustic timber columns. It has 8-pane glazing, coped end stacks, and a slate roof with projecting eaves. There is a modern bathroom wing added to the rear.
