Description

The Bridge of Bantrach, located over the River Divie in Edinkillie, dates from around 1790. It is a single span, slightly hump-backed bridge constructed of rubble. The bridge features a tooled rubble segmental arch ring and low tooled rubble parapets, with a splayed approach on the south side. There are later cast-iron stays and the abutments have been renewed with render, dated 1980. The approximate span of the bridge is 35 feet.
