Description

The Bridge of Lyth, located in Howe, dates from around 1830. It is a single span bridge made of roughly dressed rubble. The bridge features a rubble arch and ring, along with low parapets and shallow end buttresses. There are long, curved approach retaining walls on the west side. The masonry has been heavily pointed in 1982.
