Description
Braehead and Harbour Cottages, built around 1830, consist of a two-storey terrace of cottages with two and three bays that follow the curve and slope of the road. The buildings are constructed from rubble with tooled rubble dressings. They feature 12-pane glazing, ridge and end stacks, and slate roofs.
Boatman's Cottage is a three-bay house with a central door on the south elevation and a further two-bay extension to the east, which was formerly a separate two-bay dwelling. It has a sharply canted narrow single bay at the west and an angled gable.
Braehead and Harbour Cottages also include a pair of two-bay dwellings, each with paired central doors.
