Description

The Bridge of Divie, built in 1831, is a high single span bridge made of rubble. It features a dressed rubble arch ring that springs from natural rock abutments. The bridge has shallow end buttresses and a tooled rubble parapet with a low coping. The approaches to the bridge are slightly splayed. Additionally, there are later cast-iron ties. The approximate span of the bridge is 50 feet.
