Description
Dunroamin is a house located at 15 Tolbooth Street in Forres, built around 1815. It is two storeys and an attic high, sitting over a raised basement, and features three bays. The exterior is made of coursed dressed rubble with ashlar dressings. The centre bay is slightly advanced and has a pediment with a pilastered doorpiece, which is accessed by a flight of steps that oversails the raised basement. There are band courses above the ground and first floors, a bull's eye window in the pediment, and an eaves course with a cornice. The house also has two small piended dormers, panelled end stacks, and a roof made of West Highland slate.
