Description

32 Tolbooth Street in Forres is a building dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is two storeys high with an attic and was originally designed with three bays and a central door; a fourth bay was added in the later 19th century. The facade is painted render, while the flanks and rear are constructed of rubble. There is a single bay addition that has a taller storey height, with first-floor windows that extend through the eaves to a piended dormer head. The roof is covered with West Highland slate and features two gablet dormers.
