Description
The Cart Shed at Wester Middleton is an early 19th century coach house with a rectangular plan, featuring two storeys and four bays. It is constructed of random rubble and has segmental arches with polished voussoirs supported by squared and snecked columns on the ground floor. The first floor has unglazed openings in each bay, with droved dressings polished at the margins. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended design with lead ridges. The building also includes cast iron rainwater goods.
