Description

Early 19th century; 2 storey, 3 bay, rectangular plan farmhouse, with later additions to rear. Principal elevation: tooled coursed sandstone, remainder harled; droved dressings; long and short quoins. Base course, slightly projecting window cills.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; central doorway with 20th century flat roofed open timber porch on bullfaced stone wall; glazed timber door with letterbox fanlight; windows to flanking bays; regular fenestration to 1st floor.

NE ELEVATION: asymmetrical; window centred to ground; window off centre to right of 1st floor.

NW ELEVATION: asymmetrical; irregular fenestration; L plan addition; irregular fenestration, glazed timber door to SE elevation; piended roof; ridge stack.

SW ELEVATION: blank.

12 pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof with lead ridge; ashlar skews. Cast iron rainwater goods. Coped ashlar gablehead stacks.
