Description
The Stone Bench in the Sunken Garden at Arniston House dates from the late 19th century but includes fragments from the 17th century. It has a near semi-circular shape and is made of coursed ashlar stone. The bench features a stone seat with ashlar coping. The stone stiles are made up of carved consoles that rest on 17th century nailhead stones.
