Description

Late 18th century. 2 storey, 3-bay farmhouse sited to N of walled garden, renovated (1990). Squared and coursed stone-cleaned cream sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings; quoins.

S (FRONT) ELEVATION: modern, part-glazed door at ground in bay to centre; window, close under eaves, at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bays flanking.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey, lean-to addition.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: modern, part-glazed door at ground set to right; window at 1st floor above. Lean-to addition to outer right.

Regrettable modern lead-pane glazing; grey slate roof; rendered, coped gablehead stacks, possibly reduced in height, to E and W gabled ends; ashlar skews; replacement rainwater goods.

GATEPIERS: sited to SW. Contemporary square-plan droved ashlar with cope and pyramidal caps, adjoining low coped garden wall.
